With the A list cast of Park Bo Young and Seo In Guk, my expectations were high going into this drama. The first 6 episodes captivated and hooked me. Then the downhill slide started. Most of the blame is on the writers and the plot execution.

Fight for My Way – Kdrama Review
I liked that this show had very relatable plot with the struggles young 20-somethings deal with in regards to pursing your dreams and trying to make a living.
Mr. Queen – Kdrama Review
Mr. Queen took me on a see-saw ride with really funny moments, followed by draggy politics and edge of your seat cliff hangers. The cliff hangers are probably what had me holding on to the show until the very end. I just couldn’t see where this drama was going and how it was going to end.
True Beauty – Kdrama Review
True Beauty is a high school drama tackling the issue of school violence and beauty standards in South Korea. This show had a lot of the same vibes as My ID is Gangnam Beauty. But it wasn’t only the premise that was the same, it is because they share the same lead, Astro’s Cha Eun Woo.
Oh My Venus – Kdrama Review
Not only did this drama sit on the “To Watch List” for a while. But it also has spent MONTHS as an unfinished blog in draft form. I keep coming back to this review and haven’t been able to finish it. I keep ping ponging between things I liked and didn’t like and have had trouble coming to a final consensus.
Personal Taste – Kdrama Review
I have a feeling that if I watched it 10 years ago, I would have liked it a lot more. Some parts felt out dated watching it now in 2020. I had an up and down with this show. Some parts I really enjoyed and some other parts, I thought this is terrible.
Tale of the Nine Tailed – Kdrama Review
Overall, Tail of the Nine Tailed is a complicated plot filled with a lot of holes and illogical situations and unanswered questions. It keeps you in suspense with a cliff hanger at the end of every episode and it kept you watching because you are trying to figure out what the heck is happening and have no idea where it is going to go.
Chocolate – Kdrama Review
Overall, Chocolate was a slow-paced melodrama with some heartfelt end of life stories. It is filled with the classic kdrama troupes and a few characters that are very one dimensional and annoying. It wasn’t a bad watch, but it wasn’t something I would rewatch or put on the list to recommend to others. There’s a lot better quality dramas out there.
The King: Eternal Monarch – Kdrama Review
Overall, I thought this drama had good production value, quality actors and actresses and promise. I thought it fell short in the plot and the confusing story line. The writers just couldn’t quite execute it and it got a little too complicated for its own good.
Record of Youth – Kdrama Review
Over all, I wanted to like this drama. But even as I wrote this post, I kept finding more things I didn’t like about it than I did like. An excellent drama always comes down to the writers. And on this one, the plot got draggy and the characters were either underdeveloped or one-dimensional with no growth.
